Peonies are strictly seasonal. The main harvest runs from late April to the end of June in the northern hemisphere, with the coldest regions cutting into late summer; a second, much shorter window falls in late autumn and early winter, when southern-hemisphere growers cut theirs.
Late winter into early spring is the real gap — for weeks almost nobody is cutting peonies anywhere, and no shop can change that. If you need them for a fixed date, ask on WhatsApp what arrived that week.
A mono bouquet is how most people take them, and it suits the flower: peonies have enough presence not to need anything beside them. They also go into a box or a basket, or fold into a mixed bouquet with something quieter. Every arrangement is tied by hand here.
You can order peonies online at any hour, and the studio itself is open 10:00–20:00 daily. The order is completed on the site: fill in the delivery details, check the total — flowers plus delivery — and settle it by card on the secure Stripe page that follows, or hand that same amount to the courier on the day, in cash or by card. Before the bouquet leaves we send you a photo of it, so you can see the actual stems and how far the buds have opened. If the timing matters, say so to the florist who calls after the order to agree the hour.
Peonies are never the cheapest flower, and the season moves the figure: early and late in the season there is less coming out of the fields anywhere, and that shows. After timing, it is stem count and variety that decide.

Judge the bud, not the flower — peonies are always sold closed. The right stage gives slightly under a thumb, like a marshmallow, with colour showing between the outer petals; a stone-hard bud was cut too green and may never open.
Warmth is the dial after that: a warm room opens a bud in a day, a cool one holds it three. Sticky outer petals are the bud’s own nectar — harmless, and not what keeps it shut.
In bud, most of a week; fully open, another two or three days. A peony empties a vase faster than the bouquet suggests — a closed bud still has a flower to open, and that takes water, so top up before the level drops.
Strip every leaf that would sit below the water: peony foliage rots fast and fouls the vase, which ends a bunch sooner than the heat does. And if they are opening faster than you need, move the vase to the coolest room overnight — cold holds a peony as reliably as warmth pushes it.
